Ironing, eek...

It's OK everyone I haven't turned into a domestic goddess.  I was fiddling around one day with a scrappy quilt tutorial and I found I had lots of 2" scrappy strips left over.  I was going to make a machine cover but whilst ironing them I was a little ashamed of the cover on my mini ironing board so I decided to make a template from the old cover and voila! a patchwork ironing board cover which looks very pretty propped against my 'playpen' wall and so 70's. Cheers

You have the fanciest mini ironing board cover I have seen. What a great idea. Was thinking of you today. My friend and I were at Faeries in my Garden.

Great use of scraps! Do the seams get in the way when you are ironing?
