It's finally finished

This quilt that I have just finished is my oldest UFO.  I started making it in 1995.  It was at flimsy stage when I took time out from everything to care for my Dad for 9 months.  Because I was running a craft group which I went back to after his death, I had to move on to other things and keep up with samples, notes, sourcing projects and materials etc. I just didnt get back to finishing it .

Sometimes it is the ones that have been sitting for the longest time that seem to be hardest to go back to.

This quilt is gorgeous, the colors are so sweet. It's far to cute to leave as a UFO.

Great finish Marilyn. My first, unfinished, dates back to 1985 and it is a sampler. Ooops I think I had better get it out for a 2013 finish.
