I've finished....my list!!

Hi, I'm Raewyn from lovetostitch. It's nice to be sharing here. After signing up to Sew It's Finished early in January, I've done nothing but lurk and admire the finishes that have been happening. Lately, I've had a bit of a tidy-up and now am organised with a LIST of the UFOs I want to focus on first.
Here they are, and in no particular order —
1. Breast of Friends; 2009 Homespum Magazine BOM.
5 blocks completed, quite a few to do.
2. Flirting with Flowers - BOM by The Pickledish Patch.
6 blocks completed, 3 to go (I think).

3. Crumbs quilt - this is a flimsy so just
needs quilting.
4. Klosjes quilt - I'm making this up as I go but think it
will have at least one more border of spools.
5. Reproduction Jellyroll quilt. Meant to be for my husband
for Christmas but Dad got ill so it didn't get finished.
Needs the final border and the quilting.
Hopefully, I'll be able to post some progress before TOO long. Have fun working on all your own projects :-),

Gonna get there....eventually!

Hi All......I am Vicki from The Pickledish Patch and I finally got my brain into thinking what UFO's I got.

Congrats to all of you who have finished a UFO....I am still in the process of counting all mine up.
I know I have the Breast of Friends BOM to do....I think I got about 3 blocks to go and then its put the blocks together and quilt it all.

Plus I got 6 blocks to go in the Tisket A Tasket BOM and I also got my Row by Row RR rows to put together and make into a quilt...I did these rows in the Craft Forum swap back in 2008..Eeek!
Also I have my blocks from the Applique/Stitchery Block BOM Swap from the Craft Forum back in 2008 as well...

Sitting in a box is a stitchery that is waiting to be turned into a bag and a set of Heart Blocks waiting to be turned into a bag.

I have an ongoing task of a Dear Jane quilt and this one will be a few years in the making.

Two quilts are waiting to be quilted...just need to save some dollars to get them done

So that is 9 UFO's...Oh dear....I didnt think I had that many.

I am so glad I joined Dawn and Wendys blog as hopefully very soon I will get some if not all of these done.
ha ha ha and then its on to the next lot of creating UFO's :)
Hugs to all....Vicki

Cushion Finished.

Back in October last year, I started the first block of the Breast of Friends quilt. I wasn't happy with my quality of embroidery, so I started a new block and this one hung on the wall.

It just stared at me and mocked me, saying finish me....finish me....

So that is what I did, yesterday I put a zipper in the back piece. Joined it all together and sewed the binding onto the edges.

Today I hand sewed the binding and all finished.

Its now a cushion for my lounge chair where I love to sit and do my stitchery.

Due to the blue washable pen fading, I didn't worry about the top part of the stitchery. I am sure that would have made me undo what was already done...lol.

Also I put a binding around the edge and that fabric matches the dove's wing on the left.

The back I decided to add a zipper and I didn't want the zipper dead smack in the middle.

So this UFO is now a cushion and I am sure if I didn't join this group, it'd still be annoying me.

Very happy with the end result.

You're only limited by your imagination.
