...I was going to have a early finish, and I did even if I haven't written a post about it here until now.
Anyway, I'm so very pleased with this table runner in a garden fence pattern.

A wallhanging done.....

Some time ago a friend gave me a flimsy that she had made and, for some strange reason, didn't want anymore....

I added the blue border and then used it to practice some quilting... tighter than I usually do so the wallhanging is quite firm

It's one of the UFO's that has been lingering in the cupboard... 

I did different shapes.... little orange peel type on the vase...

... and swirls in the background....

... a kind of paisley shape in the flowers ....

this week I put the final stitches on the binding.....

Righto, Gotto Go.... I still seem to have a heap of UFO's!!!

 

A quilt ........

I made the top of this quilt with an online course last year

... finally it is all quilted and bound and gifted to my Hubz ......

... this was my first time using all civil war fabrics in a quilt.....

... let's hope he stops whinging about not having his own quilt now!!!!!!!!!

Alittle late, but my March finish

Hi everyone!  I finished this up last week. 

 

 

This is 53 x 57.  I used 6 yards of fabric.  I did a panto over everything.  There are buttons and beads all over it.  It was a BOM.  I believe I started it last February in 2013.  This is my 4th finish so far this year.  I need to get a move on, if I am going to finish like last year.

It has been an extremely productive month even with all the extenuating family issues. All of these UFOs are 10 or more years old. Yes, I had to dust them a bit before I ran them through the machine. But oh so happy that they are done :)

April's wallhanging....

I have long loved this little wallhanging and finally have made it up.... I had traced the pieces a while ago and then stitched them a while ago and now it's done .....

It is called Garden of Happiness and the design is by Sally Gibbs... the pattern was in a Country Threads magazine but I can't tell you which one as smartiepants here tears out the pattern she wants...

what's not to love with some red work and some piecing? 

... and then some quilting....

Not much, but I think I will be early with my finish for April. Just hadn't the time to finish it off tonight.
