Be Attitudes done!

Started as a class I was teaching about 4 years ago and was supposed to be a BOM...but students kept dropping as time went on. Well, there went my incentive to get the next blocks done and pretty soon it's on the back burner. I had all the appliqué pieces prepped and that was it.

And most of all...grateful that it is done!

Happy quilting, Karen

A lot of finishes!

It feels like I've been very productive lately. I managed to finish 19 pouches/bags in different sizes!
I had a deadline because I wanted to take them along to the annual Knit Retreat I go to every year. And I actually sold a few. The sad part is that one got lost, I guess someone needed it badly!
But I had a wonderful weekend despite that and am already longing for next year!

One Down and Another to Go

One of the things that I really needed to finish up was a Christmas stocking that I started in August of 2012.  Needless to say, the new baby did not have it finished for last Christmas.  After Christmas I didn't want to work on anything "Christmas-y" so it got put in the UFO pile.

I am happy to say that it is now finished - stitching, assembling of the stocking and stitching the lining into it.  It is ready to hang and be filled this year.  Yeah!

Stitching has started on the next one for this year's baby.

22nd Finish

My finish for this month is a leaf mat made from a pattern for a skinny quilt.  This leaf had been moved from stack to stack wanting to be finished for about 2 years.  You may see a different colored leaf in the future but I can't seem to find where I put it but I do remember it all pinned and ready to go.  Maybe it's in the basement???
Happy Halloween!

Christmas wall hanging

Another finish for October is my Nancy Halvorsen Christmas hanging.  This is such a beautiful panel, which I have had for some years.  I had put the borders on so it just needed quilting.  I have hand quilted the panel, and in the border I have machine quilted the words of  "While Shepherds watched their flocks by night".

Finish 17..

Back in September 2011  I  joined 312 other ladies for  "Bloggers BOM Quilt -A- Long"  so I am very happy to say it is my UFO finish for this month….

012 (2)

and it is on it’s way to a new home for someone in NSW who may need a little comfort….

Weekend finishes.......

I made these rag quilts a couple of years ago to go in our spare room on our granddaughter's beds.......but as usual the binding wasn't done (the story of my life....make the quilt, but don't do the binding) so I did both quilts on the weekend.

Also, this little cushion......I had made one and half finished the other......so now they are finished as well.

Now to finish painting the beds, which I started on the weekend. Actually it was a fairly productive weekend, even if I say so myself....Lol.
