Two finishes to start the month.

I admired this cushion on a friends blog so she sent me the pattern, and I made one for me, and one for mum

I found the large ric rac challenging to work with to say  the least which is why the second cushion ended up with some lace trim instead.  I am still happy with how they both look, a great way to use up scraps, but has not made the slightest dent in my scrap baskets.

Oh these look so great Sue - well done - even if they didn't make such a dent in your basket! Anthea x

Very pretty - but you are right - a couple of cushions wont make much of a dent...

I know what you mean about the ricrac trim Sue...a bugger to work with...there must be a trick we haven't learnt yet, do you think?? I have problems with it too....but it still looks great on yours! Such nice cushions....bet your mum loves hers too!

Scraps multiply at night ;) I love the look of giant ric rac but haven't tried using any yet. Your pillows look wonderful.
