A few years back - at one of my patchwork groups, we made and swapped Happy Blocks ( a 4" square with 2" borders [finished]). I nominated a sea theme and collected these. I had made the top quite a while ago and have now quilted and bound it.
It's a cool wet dull day here so photo opportunities are limited.
(for the record keeper: 6th finish for the year - one a month is about all I can do!)

1 a month sounds good to me, and a finished quilt makes a big gap in the pile!!
One a month sounds great to me. At the end of the year you will have 12 finished projects that were sitting in the back of the closet.
Cute quilt. I like the sea theme blocks especially those 4 towards the center that look like water.
