A quick cushion
After the Victorian bushfires of a few years ago, a group was calling for Maverick Star quilt blocks to put together into quilts for distribution. I made a block first off to "test" it out. I wasnt very good at doing the wonky style - I needed mine to look more "normal". I still had my sample block in with my other orphan blocks, and decided it was time to use it.
I added the border, put an invisible zip in the back, and it was made up in not much more than 1/2 hour. I need to buy an insert for it when I am next at the shops.

I like those maverick stars..but they can be a challenge for the more orderly of us.
I have a cushion to make up too - I hope it will only take me half an hour...probably not.
What a sweet cushion cover...
Very pretty Marilyn
I'm terrible at wonky too!!! Your star looks nice and makes a great cushion.
