23rd finish for 2013

Here's my last finish for 2013 -

a valentine runner I pieced over four years ago.

It's now quilted and bound and ready to give to my daughter.

What do you call a group of Santa's?

I am posting this from my phone, I hope we can read it.

This finish was started in 2006 ( yep that's what my instructions say.)

I am so glad to see these 8 little fellows ready to move out of my sewing room.

Redesigned bag

My next UFO, this bag I finished off  for my daughter's birthday gift, is nothing like it started out to be, apart from the colours.  I had cut and pressed squares for prairie points, and woven strips, but wasnt too keen on the design of the bag.  I was able to recut the squares and make another of Dawn's Baseco bags.  It is such a good design, and a very handy sized bag.  I started the bag 2 years ago and have been wondering how to redesign it as I loved the colours.

I am very pleased with how it has turned out, and my daughter is thrilled with it.
