It is only small, and all that was left to do was the stitching around the outside edge..done...a little ornament from Marg Low's Christmas Book.

Mum's Bag
Last year, after I sent over a bag I had made for her, Mum was out shopping with a friend and she saw the panel and some plain fabric for lining. So, not being a sewer herself, she sent it over for me to make into a bag for her. I cut it out and put it in to the 'to do' pile ... and yes it lay there (while I was busy with other things) until this month. Back to Sydney it has now gone.... all finished.

A finish for May..but I'm a day late in posting

Internet access problems have plagued me in the last few days, but it looks like that is all behind me now..so I can now add my May finish on this blog...It has been my go to project for doing when I just wanted an easy relaxing project. It has now reached a size that I am happy with and so I am calling it finished. It has kept me company on cold nights but I have another project that is in need of rescuing and finishing.

Just in time for April..
A quick post to share a finish for the month..I have been busy making new things...and then as the end of the month was looming I had to look for something to finish off for the month.. I found this bag..with pins marking where some hand stitching needed to be done, and now here it is all done.
Oh dear it had been waiting for about 3 years or so for the finishing touches...sadly, some times, out of sight means out of mind!!

First Finish for 2012
A lap quilt for my mum. The top was pieced last year and so when the time pressure went on (because I was going to deliver it in person to her in Sydney in January) I got myself sorted and quilted it , bound it and there it was all finished, three weeks into the New Year. I wonder why it took so long??
