A February finish!

I started this back in December, but I had to tweak it a little before I was satisfied  Still not thrilled with the final version, but it's a lot better than it started out

Two finishes!

The first was for a mug rug swap that I'm in.

And this  is what I made myself for the Name Game Swap#2 because I didn't get anything from my partner.  It's quilted and bound, so I consider it a finish.  But I'm not happy with it, so I'll probably be adding some embellishments.

I hope to do some serious quilting in February and have some larger projects to show!

June finish

I started this kit sometime back in 2009, shortly before I started quilting.  Needless to say, it got stuck in a box and only recently resurfaced.  I don't have the right size pillow form, so I'll buy or make one this week.

I've already decided what I plan to work on for July, so I'm off to get it kitted up and ready to go.

May finish!

Here it is the end of another month, and I'm just squeaking by.  I literally made just a few stitches of this back in 2009, from a sale kit I bought after Christmas 2008.  I recently found it in a basket along with a similar project.  It was quick to work up, and I can't believe I didn't finish it sooner.  Maybe because I forgot I had it??

Keep on stitching....Sunny

2 Hours to Spare!

Yippee!  Another finish!  This was started in 2011, and just needed to be quilted and bound.  I can't wait to hang it on the wall in my sewing room.

Now it's time to choose my project for March.

Another January finish!

I started this a couple of days after Christmas.  I've had the pattern for many, many years, and In December I learned that a friend has Winterberrry Christmas dishes, so this will be a hostess gift next December!

My first fnish for 2011

I started this little quit at a retreat in November.  I added the corner triangles, and then couldn't decide how to quilt them.  I finally decided on a basket pattern!  I couldn't find a basket stencil, so I made my own with a couple of triangles and a plate.  The binding is even sewed down.
