One of my oldest UFO's finished

This is an Eleanor Burns pattern that a couple of friends and I started back in 2000 or 2001! It had three dimensional flowers on it that I absolutely hated. I finished 3 blocks, finished all the baskets for the rest of the blocks and stopped. Tries to muster up enthusiasm for it and never hit the mark! So, I dug it out..took all the appliqués off and then finished it! I had to mix and match fabric for smashing and borders because I didn't have enough. Who knows what my plan was? Anyway??it's done and off my list!

Quilty hugs,

Karen

Off your list and looking beautiful! (Oh I knew you meant sashing and that's how I read it.)

I knew you meant sashing too but sometimes 'smashing' could be appropriate. It is a lovely shade of blue that you have used. xox

Sometimes patterns need a bit of editing. I like the empty baskets. Great job!
