I started this block in April 09 when it was first released as part of a Homespun BOM. It's by Leanne's House and I just fell in love with it the moment I saw it. But I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it for a while and then when I finally decided I was going to make it into a cushion - I put it aside to start something else (I know... I wouldn't believe it either.. starting something new before finishing the other project?!?!).
I'm pleased to say that it's now FINISHED! And it's in my favourite Swell fabric too ... so it's even more impressive!

Oh how lovely. I have 1 of those to turn into a cushion as well.
As Joy would say......This is just GAWJUS Maree!!!!!! Don't we all put things down just before they're finished to start a new project?????? I thought that was part of the quilter's oath!!!! LOL.....which we are dispelling this year!!!!
Fantastic job....I LOVE it!

Your cushion is beautiful. I love the fabrics you have used - I made my daughter a quilt using them.
This is really beautiful!! I know we are supposed to be finishing things,...eerrr, but....do you think I could find out how to get that pattern too, to do "one day" ...lol... ?? I just love it!! Hugs n Blessings from Sue.

Thats just beautiful. Love the colours.
I stitched the Cinderberry stitches block for that series and it is lurking somewhere. It may end up as a cushion too
Hi,
We'd love you to send a high res image (1-2MB) and and some text about this cushion to be considered for our Readers' Showcase pages. We love to see the BOM blocks put to other uses, as well as in the finished quilts - gives great ideas to other readers!
