From a lonely teddy to a treasure cushion

This little lonely bear panel was very lonely on my wall since I finished it in 2008 or 2009. It was to be a baby wall hanging but never got finished.

Until this week, when I decided to turn it into a secret pillow / pocket pillow/ treasure cushion / pyjama tidy, you can choose the name!
I cut my panel with a gentle curve to make a pocket in front of the pillow.

I made the body of the pillow with a lovely teddy bear print fabric I had stashed away.

And here is my finished item that I was planning to sale but has been claimed by my daughter already.

February Sixth Finish

This one is called Raising Cane and is another mystery from 2009.  It is from A Pocket Full of Mysteries yahoo group and was designed by Dorothy Young.  I am so excited to have some of these tops out of the closet and turned into quilts.

Another two finishes

last week i finished these 3 hand towels that have been half made for around 2 years. The toppers were made just needed to have the towels added. These make my 5th finish.

My 6th finish and the biggest so far is my Iowa Girl tablecloth that I started over 5 years ago. The top was completed in the year it was started but I put it aside as I could not afford to have it professionally quilted & I knew it needed more than ditch quilting or the very poor stippling I have since tried. So this year I have joined SewCalGals FMQ challenge to help me get my confidence up with quilting. January's tut was free flowing flowers. Mine are all over the place and not very even but i had a go and it got another UFO happening. I finished the binding last night while watching a movie with my daughter.

Hello everyone,

This is going to be quick. I have finished a project that I had planned but didn't get to (not sure if it counts here or not - if not let me know). It is for a Pay it forward that I did the first of last year. It is a small doll/table quilt & matching pin cushion.

I used a small charm pack of Amelia to make them.

If it counts I think this is 6.
