Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know I'm still alive and did complete one item. It's the tree that goes with the small skirt I completed last month. I was able to stuff, sew up the small holes and put it together. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. Here are the pics:
I think this is number 10 for 2012.

My finishes for February & March
Here is a couple of finishes...Very old finishes.
It's a white canvas apron I bought
about 8 years ago and some fabric I bought to "fancy" it up about 5 years ago.
My kitchen is apples so this will look great hanging in my kitchen.
I bought this "kit" a long, long time ago and
found it while going through my fabric. All the pieces were cut out and all it
needed was to be cut out, stuffed pieces. There is a tree too but I haven't
gotten it stuffed yet. The only thing I completed (with machine embroidery
stitches) was the skirt. I think it turned out cute. I'm going to finish the
tree soon and will show you.
Still plugging away but also dealing with health issues.

A Little Late
This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my son's girlfriend. I had the panel stitched but didn't get it finished until yesterday. Here it is (and I'm really pround of this one):

| Here is a good view of the panel. It is an applique pattern from Erin Russic at One Piece at a Time. |

Some more finishes!
Hello everyone,
This is going to be quick. I have finished a project that I had planned but didn't get to (not sure if it counts here or not - if not let me know). It is for a Pay it forward that I did the first of last year. It is a small doll/table quilt & matching pin cushion.

I used a small charm pack of Amelia to make them.
If it counts I think this is 6.

Some more finishes
Hello everyone,
I've finished a couple of more items, both were started last year:
This is something I started because I had joined a quilt guild that meets to sew every other week. I can't go right now because I watch my grandson. Hope to start back this summer.
I have more pictures on my blog if you want to see them. You can go here.
This makes 5 finishes for January so far and I have another couple that I want to work on.

What I've been up to this year!
Hello everyone,
Thought I would let you know what I've been up to the last week or so. It's been a bit crazy but thought I would try and get a couple of things finished this month.
![]() |
| This is a stitchery that I started last year and the colors match my kitchen. This is a decorative pot holder. |
![]() |
| This is the front of my purse. I started the pieces last summer. I finished it today. I'm loving the colors and it's just the right size. |
![]() |
| There are 2 end pockets. Both have pleated bottoms and elastic on the top. I put half a hexie on the top of the pocket. |
![]() |
| This is the other side. The flap was easy and I used a magnetic snap for the first time. I think it was very easy to put in and it works great. |

| This is the two pockets in front of the purse. There are also 2 large pockets inside. Roomy! |
Hope to add more later,
Wanda
